Expert Led Care & Support
Â
At FHC we combine advanced clinical expertise with personalised and compassionate care. Our courses are expertly designed to enhance the health and wellbeing of both parent and baby. Unlike conventional services, our care goes beyond birth. Offering advice and guidance throughout your journey, we aim to provide the practical tools and emotional support needed to thrive in early parenthood. Our comprehensive antenatal programme covers topics including labour, newborn care, infant feeding, sleep, safety, postpartum recovery, relationships and wellbeing. Our postnatal groups are designed to further boost your confidence and guide you smoothly through transitions and developmental milestones. To maintain a high standard of care, we keep our class sizes small and run our groups from a premium location. This creates an ideal learning space, with time to connect with your facilitator and build lasting friendships with other parents. If joining us in-person does not suit your needs then our course content can be customised into bespoke 1:1 sessions. We invite you to explore the support and courses we offer and join a growing community that understands and values the needs of you and your family.

Our Story
Lynsey Macartney - Paediatric Nurse & Health Visitor - Founder of the Family Health Company.

As a Registered Children’s Nurse (RN) and Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) with over 20 years of experience in the NHS and independent practice, I founded FHC to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and practical parental support. With advanced qualifications as a Perinatal Mental Health Champion, Infant Feeding Advisor, and Baby Massage Trainer, I designed our courses to address both the physical and emotional needs of your family. I am deeply passionate about creating a safe space for parents to learn, grow in confidence, and build a lasting support network. Let’s work together to get you and your family off to the best start.

From Our Community
It was great to find professionals that we could trust and to meet other parents in our local area. We felt more confident as new parents and able to follow our instincts, to do what is best for our baby.Â

The Miller Family
Thank you so much for all the advice and support. The group was really welcoming. I was able to ask questions and share my thoughts and worries. I made friendships that got me through the days and the very long nights!
